The current location of the ranch is situated in the SE corner of Saskatchewan, south of the village of Kisbey. The Moose Creek runs through the ranch head quarters while the beautiful Moose Mountains are north of the ranch giving a panoramic view of both the mountains and open native prairie.  In addition to the view of land, elk, moose, white tail and mule deer, black bear, red fox, Canada geese, pheasant, prairie chicken, lynx, bobcat and coyotes can be seen nearly on a daily basis.

The ranch was started in 1949 by Ray and Betsy Ippolito. Ray, a local cowboy and custom harvester, wed Betsy Buchanan in the summer of 1948. Betsy, a long time Girls and Boys club member (Later known as 4-H), was active and keen in the raising of quality beef cattle. Betsy received the Dominion award of Saskatchewan as the top cattle judge in the province. With this prestigious award she was granted a trip to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. At the Royal she was crowned second in the country for her judging only to be beaten by her teammate and close friend from Saskatchewan.

In 1975 the west ranch was added. This is a large block of grazing land situated south of the hamlet of Forget. It is cross fenced and grazed rotationally the majority of the grass being native range and the balance being improved tame grasses. With the addition of the west ranch also came the addition of Glenn and Donna Ippolito, the youngest of Ray and Betsy’s three boys.

Throughout the 1980’s and 90’s more land was added to the existing grazing blocks as well as out lying land for forage production. In 2002 another large block of land was added and Darren Ippolito joined the outfit. This block ties in to the west ranch.

The ranch’s profile took a major twist in 2003 with the loss of Ray after a length illness. Glenn and Donna took over the sole ownership after the death of Ray as Glenn managed the partnership for numerous years. The ranch consists of about 6 000 acres of deeded, crown and private lease and annually holds 400 – 450 cow/calf pairs and 1 000 yearling stockers.
